With a rush of adrenaline, Kevin jumped. His small frame disappeared into the dimly lit tunnel. His friends expected to hear a shout or a thud, but instead, there was only an eerie, hollow silence that seemed to swallow the park’s noise.
Back at the lounge chairs, Lydia’s heart sank when she saw Sarah running toward her alone. Her daughter was breathless, her face pale. “Mom, I lost him. We were supposed to meet at the red slide, but he never showed up.”
Panic flared instantly. Lydia and Sarah ran to the slides, calling Kevin’s name until their throats were raw. Lifeguards joined the search, blowing whistles and clearing the pools, but the 7-year-old was nowhere to be found.
As the sun began to set, the park’s management finally called the police. The officer’s first move was to head straight for the security control room. They needed to see exactly where Kevin had gone—but the footage they were about to watch would leave them speechless.
