Beside the figure, barely visible in the shadows of the pines, was a second shape. It was smaller, perhaps a backpack or another person, partially hidden by the brush.
Kim never went back to Dundas Peak. She archived the photos and tried to move on, but she can never shake the feeling of being watched.
To this day, the identity of the person in the grey hoodie remains a mystery. Some say it’s a local legend, others believe it’s something much more grounded and dangerous.
But one thing is certain: next time you take a vacation photo, make sure you look very, very closely at who else might be posing in the background.
